USD-denominated rentals - do landlords only ever accept cash?

Question in the title. Do landlords only ever accept hard currency or do they ever accept bank transfers (either domestically or in the exterior)? Many thanks!

Defensa al Consumidor - using CABA service after trying with national?

Hi, thanks for your response. I've actually used the CABA service already and it seems faster than the national one (wait of like 1-2 days for response vs. 1+ weeks ongoing for national one). Do you know if I can file a second complaint with the CABA service for my issue, having already filed...

Defensa al Consumidor - using CABA service after trying with national?

I filed a complaint throught the national Defensa al Consumidor and it seems like they're taking a while to proceed. (Probably because of job cuts, IDK.) I'd like to file a second complaint through the city Defensa al Consumidor. Am I able to do that or will they see that I've already tried...

    Personal 5G service

I just tried it in Recoleta near the cemetery. Very fast indeed. Supposedly it is only available in a couple neighborhoods, but I think even within the specified neighborhoods coverage is scarce. I couldn't pick it up even a few blocks away from the cemetery.

    Personal Internet

My office has had some issues with Internet and TV. Internet running a little slow at times with the occasional outage; the TV out for several days. Not sure if there's any connection with the storm. At home I've had no issues.

Cry for me... Argentina ranks #1 on Misery Index!

This author touts dollarization as the magic bullet but does not seem to address how there were/are no dollars to effectuate dollarization. Maybe in the future, but not in December and not now.

Is there a sugar-free Gatorade equivalent? Preferrably in powder form

Thanks! There's a Jumbo near my house, will probably go pick up a few bottles tomorrow.

Is there a sugar-free Gatorade equivalent? Preferrably in powder form

Looking for something like G2 in the USA, especially in powder form so I can mix it into my waterbottle. I only ever see full sugar Gatorade and Powerade and quickly browsing Mercado Libre I don't find anything else. Suero I guess is an option, but I think of that more like Pedialyte than for...

Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

Yep, had to wait a bit but the process was very efficient once I got served.

Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

I tried going to that one 2x. It's like a little table near an escalator and it was empty both times I went even though I had come during their normal posted operating hours. To anyone reading this, I'd go to the one in Retiro as it's like a whole little office unto itself.

Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

There's one in Retiro train station near the Burger King.

Unregistered SUBE cards face higher transportation costs

You can register a passport number to your SUBE. I’ve done it, but I had to go to the SUBE customer support office at Retiro train station to do it. Couldn’t do it on my own.

Can anyone recommend a good stovetop cleaner?

Odex is a good powdered cleanser. A little tough to find, but oftentimes hardware stores will have it. Sort of like Barkeepers' Friend if you know that from the US.
