just joined, two thoughts:
1. i had trouble establishing my user name, either because the ones i had chosen were already in use, or they did not meet the guidelines. problem is, i could not tell which reason because i could not find any guidelines as to what constituted a satisfactory user name.

2. any thoughts about adding a 'classifieds' forum? this is my second expat experience and i know that establishing a new place in a new country usually requires buying a lot of country-unique appliances, etc., especially for folks coming from america. thhis would be a good place for outgoing expats to unload stuff they were not going to need, and for newcomers to find them.
