I see you are blaming the victim, who I can turn around and say the photographer would be alive if they hadn`t murdered him while trying to steal his camera. You will be punished and live a miserable life for having this point of view. Lowlife!

So from most of the answers I am seeing, there is SOME truth to what's being said in these articles. I am not one to believe the hype but the pictures of these poor young women and this french photographer haunt me. It seems these murders were recent also. How sad and scary.

Can you tell me which things are ridiculous and which things if any are true? Have foreigners really been murdered here? Is it that common?

I am currently in Buenos Aires for the first time. This city is quite impressive. But since I may be coming to live here for a year or more I am doing research on the city and the country and I am seeing so many negative things? Are these things true? I know that there are tons of crazy...

I certainly hope not. I am curretnly visiting Buenos Aires for the very first time. I am quite impressed with the city and all of the things there are to do and the french architecture. It's quite the contrast with all of the homeless people on the streets. I never knew Argentina had these...
