Folks, I have been instructed to hold back on my comments about the Beethoven concerts. My apologies to you if my honest observations and experiences offended anybody in anyway....

Went to the first of the Beethoven series last night at Teatro Colon. The Third symphony was shaky and lacked the kind pf precision that I think the symphony needs but they played the first symphony extremely well. Going again tonight. I bought for 4 nights and it cost me 80 pes in total...

Folks, What are the dates for BA street carnival this year and does anybody have a programme? This time last year there were already street festivals with the kids in their costumes and the bands (and the acrobatic dancing_. it was great fun.
