Different countries with vastly different histories, geography, politics, and economies. I fail to see how the comparison is relevant to this forum. More apt would be Brazil, Mexico (which seems to be on the rise), or even Chile.
When I first moved to Argentina 1000 years ago I saw Osho books in every bookstore in Buenos Aires. I had never heard of him until one day I Googled the name. Talk about a marketing rebrand! The ole Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh did a great job of reinventing himself.

I was mostly being sarcastic. Divesting from China and Brazil would certainly be an interesting move. Not sure how that is going to improve the economic situation in Argentina in any way.
