I Am A Chinese Now Living In Ba Learning Tango

English is not her native language, she obviously didn't understand your question. So instead of trying to lecture her on how to be more professional and "serious" when she was just trying to be friendly, you should first try to be more "serious" yourself instead of asking such a silly question...

Getting A Us Turist Visa For The Girlfriend

You won't be allowed to go with her to the interview - they only let the interviewee in and they are very strict with that. If she shows she has a full-time job and makes a decent living, that will help (she needs to bring at least her last 3 recibos de sueldo). The fact that she is in school...

    Studying Visual Arts In Bsas

There's a huge difference between IUNA and UBA though - unlike UBA, you can't just sign up and show up. You need to audition and be accepted first, and a lot of people don't get accepted. At least that's the way it is for performing arts (Drama, Dance, etc.). Not sure about Visual Arts, but it's...

    Getting Married, Witnesses Needed!

Yes, both witnesses must have a DNI and also be residents of CABA (not even Gran Buenos Aires counts). The "optional" witnesses (you can have up to 4 and they charge an extra fee) can be either residents or tourists, but you must secure the 2 compulsory CABA residents first. Everyone must...

    Argentina Medical School

You should get in touch with Estubaires - they assess students who want to go to Med School in Argentina (in both private and public universities) and do all the paperwork for them. They work mostly with Brazilian students so their website is in Portuguese, but I know the director (Eliana)...

So Now That Argentines Can "buy Dollars"....

I second that; the blue dollar market existed many, many years before the cepo started in 2011. Mostly because anyone, but especially rich people, don't want to draw attention from AFIP, and every operation made at an official exchange agency has always been registered. Before the cepo, the...

So Now That Argentines Can "buy Dollars"....

The thing is - US$2000 is the legal limit, but it's not necessarily what they'll let you buy. Everything sounds good in theory, but in practice, it's very unlikely AFIP will authorize someone to exchange US$2000 (24k / year) every month, even if they make 80,000 pesos a month.

So Now That Argentines Can "buy Dollars"....

Yup, but in order to buy 2000 dollars (ARS 16,000), you need to make ARS 80,000 per month en blanco. I doubt any one who makes that kind of money is interested in taking all that trouble to make a 4,800 pesos profit.

So Now That Argentines Can "buy Dollars"....

No, you can't. You must have a CUIT/CUIL and have had a minimum net income of ARS 7,200 for the past 12 months. And even so, the amount you'd be authorized to buy would be 20% of that income. EDIT: ...If you do get authorized... AFIP still determines how much you can exchange (20% is the limit...

    Can Anyone Recommend A Housecleaner?

My housecleaner is looking for more work. She's been working for us for 4 years (either her sister or her) and they are both very honest, trustworthy and hard-working. PM me if you're interested and I'll be happy to send you her contact details.

    Freefall Dolar Blue

The government is spending roughly US$100M a day in order to make the value of the blue dollar drop. The Central Bank reserves are now at an all-time low (since the K's took office) of US$30 billion. Thus, this could only last another 300 days before it all goes downhill, although I doubt they...
