so, I'm thinking of not bothering with colonia

You have 3 bridges in Entre Rios province to cross the border to Uruguay: Gualeguaychú-Fray Bentos is the nearest, 230km north of Buenos Aires, but it was often closed because of the papeleras issues, i don't know how's the situation now. The other 2 bridges are Concordia-Salto and Colón-Paysandú.

I used Correo Argentino a few times to send some packages to Spain and to Buenos Aires and i never had a problem. In fact, a friend of mine living in Spain sent me some stuff via DHL and we still don't know what happened. Never arrived.

    Argentine Men Are All...

You think that the argentine men are too different than the men from other countries? I'm an argentine men and, is not my case, but most of us are "machistas" and "fanfarrones" and, just like the girls, the more cute the more selfish (or boring) in bed. traveling out of Argentina with kids when you have a 1 year visa

Yep, you're right. A friend of mine travelled years ago with the school to Cataratas del Iguazú, and he needed a certificate from his parents to cross the border to Brazil. You do need that certification if you are minor of 18 years and you want to go to another country.
