Need To Rent A Car For This Weekend

Thanks for the suggestions. avis, budget, dollar, hertz are all expensive and from what I can tell, charge per km after 200 or 400km. I'm working on the others. Thanks again!

Where I Can Buy A Swimming Cap (Gorro Para La Pileta)?

There's a shop in Belgrano on Cabildo 1949. It used to be a Speedo store, now it has a different name. They sell all kinds of swim gear, caps included. I haven't been to Unicenter in a while, but there used to be a Speedo shop in there too.

The photos look really nice. I see that there's a ride coming up January 3rd. Don't know if I can round up people with such short notice. As far as the apartment in NYC....Have you checked craigslist or airbnb?

    Looking To Make Some Friends

I was riding at Parque Sarmiento yesterday! Got in a good 30 miles. I love riding that circuit because you can always join a peloton with a fast group and then break off if you need a rest. Maybe we can meet up over there next Sunday! The cyclotourism websites you posted look like a lot of...

    South Asian Food Recommendation

Thanks for the Sudestada recommendation, I went there for lunch. The service was quick and efficient. The food was pretty tasty & the portions were large (had to take half the main course home). I paid 80 Pesos for a salad, main course with fish and lots of veggies, a simple dessert with...

Hi US Mom, I hope you & your kids are settling in nicely. I travel here twice a year with my two girls (ages 8 & 6) typically staying at least a month each time. I'm always looking for stuff to do to keep them interested & entertained. We live in Belgrano near the train and so far the noise...
