since you went to Uruguay within the 90 day period, you are still on that initial 90 day visa therefore they didn't need to give you another 90 day stamp. I believe they only give you a new 90 days tourist stamp if you leave on the 90th day and return after that date, or in some cases are nice...
I don't know if they go that far in argentina but I do have a friend from Venezuela who would sign all the petitions against Chavez etc and they delayed sending any paperwork she requested to deliver for her US citizenship and her family members' process completed years before hers

I was told by one taxista that they charge more from Ezeiza because they are principally airport taxis and have to drive all the way back to the airport after they drop you off. Whereas a taxi that brings you to Eze can either wait to grab someone leaving or do trips on their way back into the city
