1). What about if someone came as a tourist and wants to open for example a "kiosko" (it's only an example)? Will migraciones accept his application to temporary residence?
2). For someone who has a residence based on short term student visa (less than 6 months for example), could he switch it...
Thank you Steve for your valuable answer as always! But any employer (business) can take the necessary steps on behalf of the foreigner (tourist for example) in order to gain temporary residence or there is a list of employers that are already registered in migraciones as allowed to hire...
If someone comes to Argentina as a tourist with the intention of living here. Is it obligatory to get the work contract from a company registered in migraciones/ allowed to hire extranjeros OR he can work wherever (a restaurant for example) and he gets work contract from it and then apply for...
@dsp27 as long as the first and last names are not misspelled, who cares about where the person was born 😁
Your correction was before or after you signed it?
My question is: if you are argentino naturalizado and you get married outside Argentina with a non-Argentine woman, your son/daughter will have direct access to the Argentine citizenship or they will have to wait also until they get 18 years old. And will they be considered argentinos nativos or...
You will be told that they can acquire citizenship only when they are 18 years. I know two friends from two different countries who are told this same info. Also if my memory serves, the member "el cordobés" has mentioned on his experience about how he got citizenship that he was informed that...
Based on my own experience and friends' experiences, make sure you get the permanent residence before anything else because that's the first request they will ask you for in the juzgado if your intention is to apply alone for free. But of course the last decision is yours. Best of luck!
A friend of mine sent an email to the juzgado to ask if it's possible to correct a little detail on his carta de ciudadanía and the answer was as follows with capital letters: "LAS CARTAS DE CIUDADANÍA NO PUEDEN SER MODIFICADAS". So I think that could be an accurate answer to your question
On the Migraciones website, it's published that the required minimum passive income for rentista visa is 30.000 (treinta mil) pesos argentinos, and 1.500.000 (un millón quinientos mil) pesos argentinos for visa investment and 30.000 (treinta mil) pesos argentinos for visa pensionado.
The most of the info on Google and Migraciones website is inaccurate and outdated. As I told you yesterday, I prefer to read people's experiences rather than official websites as you might hear: "Seek advice from someone who had a similar experience, and don't ask the doctor" ;)
