I'd like to live in a nicer area near the downtown, and I'm curious as to how much I can expect my monthly living expenses to be...I manage on about $1700 / month for everything up here in DC, living in a studio apt. and having my own car.

As far as bribes...how does that work for "drug" busts? Are cops in BA lenient about Marijuana, as are European cops? Also, what are these bribes usually like, in USD?

I currently live in the DC area, and am planning to move on down in a few months (need a lil time to get my business, money together, etc.). For income, I plan on depending on my freelance web design and associated business... Any advice? I'll answer further questions.
