    Expatriates watching the Super Bowl?

While I'm not a fan of Puerto Madero, this does seem better than Run or El Alamo. Not sure how to find you all, but will see you later... Wendy

I vote for Run. I don't go to TGIF's in the states and don't plan on starting here. I believe the game starts around 9pm. wendy

    Expatriates watching the Super Bowl?

RUN does sound good. I'm not really into football and just watch for the ads, but am from NY and thus, must hate all Boston teams. Sorry AmigoArtistico. Go Giants!!

    Expatriates watching the Super Bowl?

It seems there is a new place that will be showing it on a Big Screen. Saw an ad in the Herald for RUN, Cocktails & Fun, San Martin 875. $20 pesos cover and gets you 1 drink. 4313 9721. Anyone ever heard of this place?

    Expatriates watching the Super Bowl?

I do think $130 pesos seems a bit pricey to me unless you plan on eating a lot of pizza and drinking a lot of beer. Maybe for guys this is a deal... Shoeless Joe's is indeed showing the superbowl.

    Expatriates watching the Super Bowl?

El Alamo Bar, otherwise known as Shoeless Joe's is having a Super Bowl gathering starting at 8pm on Sunday. I've never been, but it's suppose to be an expat hangout with decent food. Location is Uruguay 1175/77, between Santa Fe and Arenales. www.elalamobar.com Curious too where folks are...

Lay around all you want. Exercise is a HUGE part of my life and I like to live near my gym. I'm psyched to get some inside scoop from Mr. PocketProtector once he gets there and checks it out. W

    Book Club - Online

I love the idea of a book club but suggest it's done in person rather than online. I think discussion of a book deserves intimate reactions that can only be accomplished when meeting in person. I won't be living in BA until December but would welcome an opporutnity to read a wonderful book and...

    Gym or Wellness Center recommendation

Hi folks, I'll be moving to BA in December and would love any recommendations for good gyms, preferably near Recoleta. Besides the usual cardio equipment, I like to use weights, do yoga and take spin classes. Someone mentioned some wellness center that seemed to have it all, but I can't...
