30 year old couple moving to BsAs...is $2,000 a month realistic?

Ceviche, There is one kind of person who is even more attractive than that. It's the person, male or female, does not matter the sex, who has the means to live. (That is code for a lot of money.) I can't tell you how many times in life I have observed mis matched couples. Either the female or...

Absolutely hilarious. Still laughing! (Might watch it again later.)

You need the same advice everyone else receives sooner or later: That simply being, you need to see things with your own eyes. Only after having that opportunity, can you make a solid decision on what is best for yourself and your family (In your case, girlfriend I believe???). Yes, you can...

It's all relative. Go to the population centers, prices rise.

Very good Point Ceviche, A number is only relevant to the person and their way of life. If two people say they are hungry, each needs a different amount of food to be satisfied.

STS, No I don't believe that. I only makes sense that the local airline would have the market, or what's left of it, while larger, stronger players stepped back to take a time out and evaluate. There is no way, Aerolíneas could begin to serve all the demand that is out there when Covid 19 isn't...

    Time to dump the peso?

Frank, Agree with your point. Real estate and autos are dollarized as that is the norm for how they are bought and sold. Using the dollar in Argentina or any other country is a challenging exercise on a huge scale that more or less can create stability at the cost of the sovereign government...

As a follow up, in an effort to help keep everyone here informed: I talked with Delta this AM to get clarity on the current flight situation ... My flight was to depart BOS, connect in ATL, then head to EZE on a Delta branded flight / jet. Apparently, Delta now has multi connection flights for...

Delta just canceled my flight on December 7th from BOS to EZE. (I was expecting this. I just couldn't see this playing out any other way given all that we know is happening.) The only positive here is that they were totally agreeable to reverse the issued eCredit and refund my credit card.

Interesting. That "less than 1% saccharose" is probably responsible for the pleasant taste. Some of these sugar substitutes are many times sweeter than sugar itself. The jury is still out on a lot of them for having to do with carcinogens etc ... But I think that it is common table sugar??? Any...

Ceviche, One of my pieces of advice to myself is: Indecision kills. I am always working on making timely decisions such that opportunity doesn't evade me. Easier said than done, but I am aware of it.

Ceviche, I am with you, I prefer a lot of open space in a house. I don't care for a lot of clutter or cheap furniture. I'd rather have a few good pieces that I truly enjoy and use. The majority of people who have larger houses, stock it with an abundance of cheap furniture. I think, because...
