Recommendations for crypto or dolar transfers in exchange for USD or ARS cash?

Hey, does anyone know of any casa de cambio or crypto agencies that accept transfers, either USD or stablecoins, in exchange for cash USD or ARS. I found one through Cambio Baires. They accept USDT and give you USD in cash, but it's a $300 minimum with a 6% fee. Wanted to see if anyone has any...

    Western Union money transfer

Awesome! Everything I use right now is working out to be 320-325ish with fees etc, so that sounds great. Where abouts in town?

What rate did they give for USDT? Is it the same as dollar bills, or a lower rate?

How reliable is DHL for receiving paperwork and bank cards?

My mum sent me an xmas card once with Royal Mail and it made it to me house here in February. Crazy thing was it arrived in Argentina two days after being sent 😂

    Western Union money transfer

How do you trade USDT and blue? I currently do it using MercadoPago, but that risks being flagged to AFIP. Are there cuevas who exchange USDT and digital saldos for cash?

How reliable is DHL for receiving paperwork and bank cards?

Hi all. How reliable is DHL recorded delivery for sending a small letter from the UK? The envolope would contain two bank cards and a sim card. I received one no problem back in 2018, but things change her every 5 minutes hence wanted to check again. The cards would be frozen so no problem...

    Europe to Argentina via Uruguay

Asunción in Paraguay is also another good bet, the air taxes out of PY are really low. Flybondi and JetSmart fly there from BsAs.

Foreign credit cards purchases at MEP rate

Dolarhoy.com and it’s the “dolar bolsa”. Visa and MC are about 7-10% less than this.

Bitso app to pay in stores using QR codes at the blue rate

I jus checked on their website, and it list the US as a country they cannot serve :/ Maybe that's why Bitso isn't that well known here. I hope they can roll it out to you soon. That said, you only need to verify your address to deposit more than $180 USD. I registered as an international use...

Bitso app to pay in stores using QR codes at the blue rate

Best to use international, as I guess registering it in Argentina will likelt mean limits and restrictions etc

    Western Union money transfer

Each time I’ve done a transfer, it always hits my Galicia account around 6pm here the same day, if I get it in the WU UK on time

I’d been looking for something like this that gives cash instead of transfers, good to know it exists.

    Moneygram transfer

I use Binance p2p to sell USD for pesos and the seller transfers the pesos to my MercadoLibre account. It’s the “dolar cripto” rate, which is similar to the blue. Seems there are cuevas that offer cash for this. Binance is a little complicated to navigate the first few times you use it but...

Foreign credit cards purchases at MEP rate

You can enter a fake DNI and it usually works fine. This doesn’t work for making a MercadoLibre account, but lots of other websites work with a fake DNI.

Foreign credit cards purchases at MEP rate

Charity donation is a great idea, but I don’t know of any online websites for money donations. Inflation is very high here and people are distrusting, so I guess that’s why it’s not the common. People tend to donate clothes, food etc. But I might be wrong. The delivery app Rappi has a monthly...

    Moneygram transfer

As far as I understand, from reading a local WU comprobante, these kind of transfers are family support and are exempt from being declared and taxed. Just to be on the safe side, the WU account I use is in the name of a close family member (with their consent).

Bitso app to pay in stores using QR codes at the blue rate

I write ads for a living, so if my post reads like one that’s why. Just how I write. As I mentioned, it’s not an ad. Just me being helpful to fellow expats and tourists who are finding it tedious and increasingly harder to get cash at Western Unions etc. They aren’t bringing out a higher...

Bitso app to pay in stores using QR codes at the blue rate

Hey, thought I’d share this app I’ve been using to pay for things at the blue/cripto rate and has been working very well for me. Bitso is a crypto virtual wallet that lets you pay with QR code in stores in Argentina using USD stablecoins. For those that don’t know, USD stablecoin is pegged to...

Foreign credit cards purchases at MEP rate

In theory it should work, but on Aerolineas the fares in ARS are technically only for residents as they are subsidised. Not sure whether that would mean a block on foreign cards when trying to pay in ARS. Then if you are resident, technically you are not allowed to use a foreign card at the MEP...
