My name is Eden, I'm a grad student at Cornell but I'm from San Francisco. I just moved here also! It would be nice to hang out with people from the States. I'm living in a beautiful house (just the top level, with a girl I met here) owned by a local artist, in San Telmo.

This is one of his best books, in my opinion. Norwegian Wood and South of the Border/ West of the Sun are also fantastic. I've read them all!

Cool, I love animals and thought I wanted to be a vet for a while.. I am a landscape architecture student who lives in San Telmo, writing my thesis, and it would be great to get together a small group of people for social dinners (or maybe even potlucks.. I like to cook.)

I'll try to make it too- I just got here also! However my wallet got stolen yesterday and I like in San Telmo so I want to conserve cash and maybe not take a taxi- if I can't make it.. anybody live in San Telmo who wants to hang out? I was thinking of going to the zoo or something on Saturday.

I just settled into an apartment in San Telmo, and I'll be here for the semester, researching and writing my thesis (and practicing my Spanish and Tango.) I'm glad to see that there's a community like this available! Nice to meet everybody.

I'd love to go! My Spanish is passable, but I need to practice, and it would be great to see some theater.
