    El Clasico de Avellaneda

Some friends want to go for the "nuevo superclasico" at the Racing stadium in Avellaneda this weekend. Is it likely to get very violent and is it even possible that we could get tickets at such short notice? We don't want to pay the $ price for them but want to buy them at the stadium. Thanks!

Please help me people ( I need your help) PLEASE PLEASE

Please help me people ( I need your help) PLEASE PLEASE

    Argentine bank charges

Our Citibank card, though supposedly meant to work everywhere on the Banelco network, does not work anywhere except in Citibank ATMs. So there's never any likelihood of our being charged as you were :P

    Spicy food in BA

Thanks for the offer! :) I have my stash of spices from home as well but was hoping you had found a source right here. The place on Ciudad de la Paz doesn't have anything much either.

You don't get asafoetida here. If you've found it anywhere, then please let me know!

Good iPhone/iPad app for Spanish (especially verbs)

Ultralingua is excellent, both as a dictionary and verb conjugator, and it works offline as well. It's expensive though.
