There are a lot of bike excursions in Buenos Aires province or in the south such as the famous Cruce de los Andes. If the excursion is in BsAs province they usually transport everyone's bikes in a big truck.
I'm flying on Aerolineas Argentinas and they don't allow animals in the cabin for international flights. American Airlines doesn't either and they used to. Detla tickets cost almost 50% as much as Aerolienas and AA so I had to go that route. Even though the US Customs says no health certificate...
How embarrassing. LOL. I was so young then. I look at the video and remember how easy it was to take care of short hair. I got out my tango shoes and cleaned the dust off because in NYC I'm going to go back to teaching. No more taxis, taxi unions, and disgruntled employees for me....at least for...
It's easier than the website in Castellano makes it look. Five days before leaving Argentina you have to take your cat to a vet and get an antirabiea vaccination, ringworm (gusano, miasa, etc) certificate. You take the certificate to Lazareto en Puerto Madero (the address is on the website) and...
A few people have asked me where they can get a bed bug mattress cover, but they don't import them or sell them in Argentina. I'm selling mine. It's brand new, still in the original packaging from Australia. If anyone needs a bed bug mattress PM me.
I'm inclined to do just that and sell it. It's difficult because a dear friend had it made for me here. I guess I have to choose between the cat or the bicycle. LOL.
I checked fhe prices of good road bicycles in the States and they start at $1,500 US. Maybe a used good road bicycle for training can be found on Craigslist. It will be challenging with the bike, suitcases and meowing cat.
The basic areas to see on a trip are: El Caminito in La Boa (old Italian Genovese neighborhood with colorful houses where perform tango in the street and sell artwork), the antique market in Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo neighborhood, the street fair in Plaza Serrano in Palermo Soho (big night...

I've been watching videos on how to dismantle a bicycle and put it in a box from a bike store. You mean a hard box in Argentina costs $300 US? That's more than I expected. I could sell my bicycle, but if I wanted to buy a road bicycle in the States they run around $1,000 US and up. And that's a...
