    An Idea Of Costs

If you look at places like AirB&B and rentba the prices range around $1,000 USD per month for short-term, furnished apartments. Only if you get a two year contract do they charge you the local price.

    International Pet Transport Services

If you can't travel with your pet, I know that you can have someone take your pet to Ezeiza and it can travel on the airplane without and you would just pick him or her up at JFK. I might have to do just that if it's too cold in NYC this weekend and they don't allow my cat to board the airplane...

    Automobile Purchase Deals

A lot of people when buying and selling between each other instead of using a car dealership try to put a lower price on the denuncia de venta en the registro automotor. Last week I was there and a couple was trying to do this and the women helping them basically told them it didn't matter how...

    Automobile Purchase Deals

I lost $300 because I sold it to a car dealership. It was sold within a week by the first person that walked in. It was 2006 but only had 21.000 km. So I lost $300 US, but it sold quickly.

Where Argies Think You Are From?

Argentines from the interior part of the country think I'm Argentine, Colombians think I'm porteña, and porteños say I sound French but look Arabic. Serafina, you started one of the most interesting threads in a while.

    Automobile Purchase Deals

Cars can definitely be an investment here. I sold my Fiat that I had for sale on the forum. Because of inflation, I only lost $300 US.

    Grrr! Argentine Supermarkets

Even if the chinos are crowded they're really efficient and fast. They don't waste time checking their cell phones and chatting with co-workers. They scan the items as quick as possible and they're the only ones I know that have discovered that the things will go smoother if they actually help...

    Grrr! Argentine Supermarkets

My electricity cuts out every night, and I haven't had water since yesterday. Some A-hole robbed cables form the Sarmiento train line on Monday causing a three block line all afternoon with people waiting to take a bus to get home to their family. I don't particularly care for the service in the...

    Grrr! Argentine Supermarkets

I stick to the chinos. They're much more efficient then Argentines in a supermercado like Carrefour, Coto or Disco any day of the week.

Search Engines That Use Low Cost Airlines [Eu]

My friend did something quite smart. She needs to fly to Sydney and the ticket from BsAs cost around $4,000 US. She checked the same flight but in an Australian travel webpage as if she were buying it from there and she discovered that the same ticket costs half as much.
