Over the last few weeks my wife has never taken so many calls from Argentines planning to relocate to Spain.

Where I live you could be fined if you don't wear one....not sure what the fine is but it's quite high. However I very much doubt they bother. To be fair 99% of adult people, including me and the missus wear one when out on the streets. Only a few selfish arrogant sods don't.

I'm no prude but anyone with any common sense would know not to be doing that sort of thing when you have a camera on you even if you think it's off. Something a silly teenager might be forgiven for but not a member of parliament. The guy's obviously not the full shilling.

I can only add that once the novelty of coming to live in Argentina wears off you really don't want to be short of cash. I couldn't stand being here if I had to scrimp and save.

I suspect the cost of living will rise anyway no matter what they do. :) The economy has always been a disaster since I started coming here.I don't expect much to change in the future.
