    Airport Transfer and …..

Unless you plan on visiting the worst parts of the city you don't have to worry about safety. Yeah anything can happen but treat it like any other big city in the world. Same goes for night time. Lots of people are out at night eating and drinking in certain areas. Unfortunately unless you...

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

All the cheap brands said the posted price is just the "anticipo" and after you have quotas. Cheapest car is 2.3 million. Then I went to Audi and said I want to buy this A1 listed at 40k USD for 4 million pesos. They said we only sell in dollars because of blah blah blah. I said ok 20k usd...

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

After visiting a couple dealers you find out the cheap car aren't as cheap as posted. It's on a piece of the price. So much for that. I was willing to swallow my shallow American pride for a 5k car. Not willing to do it for a 15k bucket. Now where was I???? Harley lol

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

It's funny. You would think most Europeans would be as bad as Americans but it's simply not the case. Europeans have mastered penny penching. It makes sense those same cars can survive in Europe but not the US.

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

You're completely wrong!!! Many would buy..... on second thought you're completely right... I forgot the US is where you have everyone who barely can survive but walks around with 1200 dollar iPhones and LV bags.

    Western Union money transfer

When I saw the time-frame of up to 4 days to complete a bank transfer I decided not to do it. Sometimes I forget to send more pesos until I'm already out of pesos. That steak is not going to wait 4 days potentially lol. I also want the bank account to save money per say but rather as an...

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

I don't think I'd equate the price with what you are saying. It's only leftover 2021 cars that dealers needs to move that are cheap. The 2022 cars are are a lot more expensive. And the same stripped down super slow 75 hp model Peugeot is 17k euros. Aside from the crash test perspective...

    Western Union money transfer

You may have read that wrong and out of context. I'll rephrase: since I don't have an issue with picking up money in person at WU, I will never do a transfer to my bank which requires giving up my username and password.

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

It's good to learn new skills. The chance of me buying a new car here just increased dramatically lol. I kind of feel like I should convert a bunch of money now before I get unlucky and the rate drop.

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

Ummm... it literally just makes a lot of sense to buy a new cheap car and use it for 2.5 years. 5-7k.. the same car starts at 18k euros in Europe. This kind of changes things up.

    Western Union money transfer

To each his own. I don't aim to live to be afraid of my surroundings. Sure, I'm not going to seek out the worst neighborhood and walk around with a bag of money but you get the point. I think. I chose to guard as much of my privacy and personal stuff as much as I can. And until there is...

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

First... my math was wrong.. yeah 40 usd is around 4000000 pesos. I didn't know this information. I only kept reading here about it all being double the price. Is it also normal to bargain on a new vehicle here?

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

If I see a new car priced in USD and it's double the US price, say 40k USD, and I going to be able to offer them 20000000 pesos instead of 40000000? If not, the car continues to be double the price.

Buying a car or bike in a neighbor country and driving to Argentina?

How would it make a difference what it's based on? If it's a USD price and that price is double then that's what it is. Unless I can offer pesos and get the blue to oficial exchange it doesn't matter.
