    Car rental in Caba

I’ve used central, baires and rentasol. All are ok, pretty fair with damages and fines etc. Most have automatic options but cost you quite a bit more than the basic. Only trouble you will have renting a car is during height of summer - December to March you might find options limited.

A bit lost: Applying for a Family reunification visa, Radex application next?

Because this is Argentina and no one knows how to navigate their own bureaucracy. As I said maybe it was because it was the height of COVID but it was literally impossible to obtain the “turno” to get DNI por acto consular. This included me personally going to migraciones several times to try...

A bit lost: Applying for a Family reunification visa, Radex application next?

I wouldn't recommend going the consulate route to be honest, I can maybe understand wanting everything to be settled before you go but really it's fine to have only precaria for a while until everything is approved. Doing it through the consulate is both much much more expensive and a headache...

A bit lost: Applying for a Family reunification visa, Radex application next?

Realised I didn’t really answer your question desde_holanda. No they have another platform to fill everything in and all of the paperwork is done at the consulate. They then put a visa in your passport and then you have to get an appointment once your arrive in Argentina to turn your visa into a...

A bit lost: Applying for a Family reunification visa, Radex application next?

I did it via the consular route and it’s the same PR that you get from applying here. But costs you about $400USD. The process to get your DNI once you get here is very complicated too

Got jabbed twice because thought it was the right thing to do here immunity and all that. One was AZ which now in the cold light of day wasn’t safe and the other was Pfizer. My daughter at the time was 4 and was never vaccinated my reasoning being that she wasn’t of an age to make a decision and...

Taxi rates. Am I being scammed?

Apparently it’s a “thing” because 12 years later moved to bajo Belgrano just the other side of La Pampa and another taxi driver told me he regularly takes passengers round there to pick up falopa I never repeated the experience however, was far too strong!

Taxi rates. Am I being scammed?

I was a young fresh faced graduate in 2011 with lots of money in my pocket when myself and 2 colleagues decided we'd go to Gualeguaychu for Carnival. First we decided we'd try to buy some weed in Capital, but with no contacts in the city decided that the best bet would be jump in a taxi and ask...

Taxi rates. Am I being scammed?

You sound like my wife who always gives me instructions prior to getting in a Taxi not to speak and not to give away any information. Most of the time I think taxi drivers are just curious and are interested in having a conversation, or at least have been in my experience.
