I feel very uncomfortable for asking this, but I'm giving in and realizing there's a chance I may finally need to address my current mental health decline. I've never visited a doctor or psychiatrist before in my adult life (even in my home country) but I will have to remain here in Argentina...

Is it just me, or does it feel like many shops who would typically ask for your DNI while at the register have stopped asking for it these last couple of weeks? Or maybe they've given up/ are no longer obliged to request it from people who are very obviously foreigners (such as my dopey self)...
