    Argentine Job Boards Like Monster?

www.bumeran.com.ar, www.zonajobs.com and www.computrabajo.com are the ones that I know about. Bumeran being the one that I have had the most luck with.

What good is Apple Worldwide Warranty in Argentina.

Wish I would have had your luck but 2 times they refused to repair/replace an item that was still under warranty.

    Declaring electronics when leaving Argentina?

You will see the line when you check in. It is between the United and Continental counters. The will want to see the serial numbers of all your items to record them on a form that they will give to you. It is a hassle but it is worth it to have those items documented when you come back into...

What good is Apple Worldwide Warranty in Argentina.

I have had two Apple products malfunction while still under warranty and both times the local Authorized Apple stores would not repair them. The best one was my Apple TV 2G that would not work after 3 weeks of use. I took it to the store at Ayacucho 1184 and they checked it out. They verified...

    Gay Marriage in Agentina

I have to disagree. I have seen it a few times on collectivo 71 with couples holding hands and one couple making out. No one said a thing. This is a very tolerant society and I really don't see anyone bothering anyone else for their behavior.

No more salt in BA restaurants

Salt will be available by request, but only after the patrons have tasted their food. This is hilarious. By the time you get your salt, your food is going to be cold.

    Photoshop and Illustration tutors

I use Lynda.com because it is online and only costs $25.00 a month for all the subjects they cover. It really is worth trying for a month.

    Weekend getaway

La Plata is nice and only an hour away on the bus. It seemed a little less crowded than the city of Buenos Aires.

This is some good advice as this is where I know that my Argentine in-laws go to buy leather. It is five block walk from the Malabia subway station.

My 13yo Nephew Robbed - Unusual Method

So what does it take to see a little justice? Everybody knows this guy and no one does anything about it? Seems to be a theme of life here.

It will probably also be a lot safer for you to do it before you arrive and you will not have to concern yourself with fake bills.

Argentina ( Highest inflation in the World)

Not only are the goods more expensive here, the salaries are not even comparable to the salaries in NYC. So I suspect, as a percentage the cost of food is a lot higher here than most places in the USA.

    Poverty on the Brain..

I think that this is a great observation of Expat life here. The poverty here is not my criticism of this society but just an observation of life in this city. I see the same people in the streets pan handling, day after day, year after year. I sympathize with their situation but also...

    Recommend a Tango show anyone?

I agree with the Milonga option. This is what I would do. I would go to La Confiteria Ideal on a Friday night when they have a live band, sit back and watch a 30 to 40 people dancing the Tango. The variety of people and talent in always interesting. The room is gorgeous and the show goes...

    import taxes

I agree with Lee in this matter. Use it as a lesson learned when buying things in the future. You could have bought the same item on Mercado Libre for the price of the item plus taxes and you would not have had to screw around with DHL. Enjoy the Kindle though, it is nice to have a library in...

Just assaulted I feel not good at all

And there will be a crowd of people watching it all happen to you and not doing anything about it. Just the way it is in the city. Don't let it taint you on the city and maybe use it as an opportunity to change your routine.

They have an inventory of 0. That is one thing that I have not been able to figure out about mercadolibre is the reason that they list things that are no longer available.
