    Reciprocity Fee Question

Yes, you will have to pay it again if you fly back into the two BA airports. You will not have to pay it if you fly into anoher airport (such as Mendoza or Cordoba, or if you enter by land, as the fee is so far only charged at the two BA airports.

Anyone come back from the US in the past week or two?

Well, at the moment you do not have to pay the reciprocity fee if you fly into Argentina at any airport other than the two in BA. So, if you fly into Mendoza via LAN through Santiago (get your bags booked thru or you will have to pay the similiar fee for Chile) or via TACA thru Lima, you do...

    Like to replace the hair

A "Chinese" is better than what my mom used to say: "Chinaman". Or the argentine "ponja" (mixed up "japon", the term argentinians use for all East Asians, interchangeable with "chino") . I met a Chinese-American a few weeks ago who asked me what "ponja" meant, because she kept hearing it on the...

    renewed passport needs new visa?

No, just take your old passport, Cheng is right. Did this with a friend in the same situation who got a new passport in BA, no problems. Do not know about the reciprocity fee, but worth a try carrying your old passport with you for proof.

    PayPal and the Argie Banks

I have known several tourist businesses operated by foreigners who have Paypal accounts to receive money, set up with their banks back in their home countries. You could pay them or any other paypal receiver if you have your own account set up through the bank in your home country. Guess...

EZE Flights - Likelihood of Order in a Week?

Good god, which is why I suggest to everyone to go thru Santiago on your way to Arghentina as well. Plus catch a flight from there to anywhere other than EZE in Argentina (provided you can book your bags thru) , you avoid both Chilean and Argentine reciprocity fees. I and most other people...

    Ignorance or bliss?

I think what Bajo_cero is referring to is that the INDEC inflation rate is causes a type of controls on things like rent amounts and wage contracts. The peronistas use this as a justification to the poor (for what is effectively rent control policy) and the business sector (for lower wages) for...

But have you also not been disappointed that this tragic thing is being used by Cristina and her thuggish supporters for political posturing? Having the Tupu Amaru, or whatever the terrorist group is called, and Moyano's killing mafia use it to harangue the opposition in front of his coffin is...

    Expensas rise 40% - Clarin

Sorry, it was a joke. I made it so outrageously absurd that I thought no one could take it seriously. I feel just the opposite, I am tired of the corrupt cabal running the country and other latin american countries, like the Kirchners, Moyano annd Cjavez. I apologize if I got anyone upset by...
