US Embassy: presidential election voting reminder for citizens in ARG

During a previous election, I delivered my ballot to the US Embassy which never arrived to be counted. I am interested in knowing how a bag of mail from the US Embassy is handled between Argentina and the US. It is definitely not the best way to insure that ballots arrive before an election.

I mailed my ballot today with Correo Argentino in a hand-addressed envelope. US Embassy: presidential election voting reminder for citizens in ARG

It is likely that every county in every state has their own way of managing election ballots. Lake County, Illinois, provides a BALLOT CERTIFICATION form that requires the voter's signature accompanying the ballot. My name and former address are printed on the form.

Here is the experience of an overseas citizen who votes in Ohio. Today I feel compelled to share my experience of sending in my absentee ballot for the US Presidential election of November 5. US Embassy: presidential election voting reminder for citizens in ARG

Unfortunately, Illinois accepts ballots only by mail and not by email. I plan on buying an envelope, addressing it by hand to the county clerk, take it to the post office and pay the postage, and then hope it arrives on time to be counted.

I took a bus tonight from CCK to Moreno & Alberti. The driver charged me the fare for 3-6 km which is $413.44. Drivers don't have any system that calculates the actual distance before charging the fare, so they just guess the distance and charge accordingly. I checked the Como Llego map for...

    Did Bus Fares Increase?

Fare increases are occurring so often this year that it's hard to keep track of them. Of course the SUBE card means you pay whatever the driver indicates on the box where you place your card. Since I didn't know about the fare increase that went into effect this month, I decided to...

New Proof That Watergate Was a Scam

Geoff Shepard has written three books and has created a documentary Watergate Secrets and Betrayals. “If the public knew then what I know now, what is unassailable, factual material, Nixon wouldn’t have had to resign, and his people wouldn’t have been convicted,” Shepard told Fox News Digital.

Looking for a cheap place to write for 6 months - 1 year

If you want cheap, then a "pension" is where to start looking. It's a boarding house where you get a room with a bed, maybe a desk and chair, and closet. All the residents share the bathrooms and kitchen, so you have to wait your turn. I know a retired American woman who has lived in one for...
