Buenos Aires seems safer and nicer than Los Angeles, what happened to the United States?

There's no Reagan without Carter at the national level. Or Pat Brown at the state level. Just as there would be little chance of President DeDantis without Biden. The USA, like Argentina, gets the government it deserves.

Got into a scuffle with three chorros at Starbucks- will they seek revenge?

Realist, really. What else is there?

Got into a scuffle with three chorros at Starbucks- will they seek revenge?

We don't care about the local Argentine politics, or that in Italy or the USA. Doesn't make any difference anyway.

Got into a scuffle with three chorros at Starbucks- will they seek revenge?

We're in Tuscany now. We'd prefer to spend NA winter in Palermo Chico or Pocitos or Punta del Este. If they've all gone to hell, we'll just stay in Tuscany. Really like Florence. I suspect things are just fine in Palermo Chico, however.

Got into a scuffle with three chorros at Starbucks- will they seek revenge?

It's quite open actually. Some enforcement but little they can do against the numbers. Americans increasingly are refusing to do entry level jobs. And many require Spanish skills. Not quite sure what anyone finds in Argentina these days. I like it for the NA winter. But if Palermo Chico has...

Got into a scuffle with three chorros at Starbucks- will they seek revenge?

Why doesn't everyone just head to the USA? Relatively open borders. Generous and growing social welfare programs. Large Spanish-speaking communities in all major cities. Jobs. Why bother with Argentina?

Got into a scuffle with three chorros at Starbucks- will they seek revenge?

Starbucks on Cabello or Castex? Starbucks do seem to be magnets for pickpockets/thugs because their locations are frequented by rich gringos. Why I only frequent local cafes. Among other reasons.

    Closed stores

The Chinese run things now. Don't kid yourself. Asia, Australia, much of Africa. Venezuela is their foothold in SA, among other countries. This is spot on.

The Guardian: "Time to challenge Argentina’s white European self-image, black history experts say"

Here you go. Easy to assuage your white guilt by sponsoring a few thousand CAR refugees. Seriously, did any of you move to CABA because of its rich African culture? https://www.msn.com/en-xl/africa/top-stories/central-african-refugees-in-the-drc-living-in-dire-conditions/ar-AAKfcWg

    How to learn Spanish?

I've been to both countries repeatedly on business development recently. It's what I do. Is everyone else here retired? We need some demographics on the users.

It's from 2013. I can get plenty of current info. How much time have you spent in China and India? And how recently?

    How to learn Spanish?

The Argentine economy would explode if--in one generation--the country committed to teaching everyone English. Keep Spanish, but become a completely bilingual country. The Chinese are certainly doing this. Then again, they want to take over the world. It's India's one great advantage as well.

    How to learn Spanish?

The downside to mastering Spanish is that you will be able to understand the Argentines' near-constant complaining about nearly everything. I rather liked it when their chatter was a lilting mystery.

    Luxury cars in Buenos Aires

One of the benefits of living in CABA is NOT needing a car. Taxis are plentiful, clean and cheap. Good enough for me! In fact, I have a 94 Mercedes E320 Cabriolet collecting dust in USA, in case anyone is interested.
