    Good point. However, I agree with him about expats being "spectators" in their host countries. If we don't like the music we can just switch channels: move elsewhere when things get hot, or the exchange rate is unfavorable. There are immigrants, and then there are expats - two entirely...

    Inland from Colonia can be fiendishly hot. Better stay near the coast. No matter where you go everything is packed in January, when Argentines flee town in a frenzied pack, much like lemmings. February is much calmer, and cheaper as well.
