    What is the situation now?

A little over 8% of Argentines are vaccinated. That is nothing. It is extremely logical that in a majority unvaccinated country where there is little assistance from the government, heavy reliance on mass transit, and covid deniers in abundance that the infection rates, and therefore the death...

Why I am not planning on taking the vaccine any time soon, if ever

Did you not understand what NOVEL coronavirus meant? It was NEW, not a NYT bestseller. Much needed to be understood about how it was transmitted and how contagious it was. As more information came in the guidelines changed. Pandemics are funny like that.

    Vaccination Tourism Has Started

Vaccinations are supposed to be for residents only. There are seniors that can't get appointments due to a huge backlog. These tourists are deplorables, getting free vaccines that are meant for taxpaying residents. These carranchos probably bitch about Bolivians coming into Argentina for free...

To which I might add it's not over yet. We may well be seeing worsening conditions in the coming months due to complacency and pandemic fatigue https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/18/pandemic-fatigue-leads-to-resurgence-of-coronavirus-in-europe-where-france-and-spain-hit-records.html

Where do you expect to be in one year's time?

"I see where Sweden is now seeing about 1 new case a day." 1.Not everyone gets tested in Sweden. Tests are prioritized according to need, i.e., going to the doctor, healthcare workers, essential workers. 2. The current infection rate is not 1, it is 170. 3. The fat lady ain't sung yet, winter is...
