How reliable is DHL for receiving paperwork and bank cards?

Have you also considered Royal Mail? I sent a large letter with them and it took about a month and the tracking throughout was pretty good

    Europe to Argentina via Uruguay

Looks like you can take a 30 minute bus for a couple of dollars and then it’s only a twenty minute walk to the terminal: https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Montevideo-Airport-MVD/Buenos-Aires?utm_campaign=share&utm_source=ios&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=route#r/Bus-via-Puerto-de-Montevideo

    Europe to Argentina via Uruguay

Perhaps that is so and I’ve hit an odd quirk. The root of which seems to be that at the time in question it’s cheaper to change in Madrid than Sao Paolo, and then cheaper to fly from Madrid to Montevideo than Madrid to Buenos Aires

    Europe to Argentina via Uruguay

Hi, I was wondering if many people have travelled from Europe to Buenos Aires via Uruguay and whether there are any caveats/pitfalls/less favourable migraciones. I’ve noticed that I can fly to Montevideo and then get a bus/ferry into Buenos Aires and return flights to Montevideo are a good...

    Coca leaves availability

From my experience in Peru, chewing the leaves is pretty foul. It’s quite lovely as a tea though and I felt it was a better altitude sickness treatment than the tablets I was prescribed for altitude sickness

Argentina inflation spikes to 92% as economic growth picks up

I’d argue that a typical Porteño has a different inflationary basket of goods than a typical expat, so I’d expect there to be variance in the inflation rates for both of those baskets

    Argentina wins, Messi GOAT

It’s so bittersweet not to be there. It was a well fought, and deserved, win. Would love to see the atmosphere there. I’m sure it beats the miserable atmosphere of melting snow in London

Argentina inflation spikes to 92% as economic growth picks up

Likewise from the U.K. perspective, the most expensive bottle of wine in a restaurant in Argentina is usually cheaper than the cheapest wine in a restaurant in the U.K.

Argentina inflation spikes to 92% as economic growth picks up

I wonder what effect the recent implementation of close to blue rate on foreign credit cards will have on inflation and the wider Argentinian economy. Would it be naive to presume that greater official access to dollars will be a good thing for the Argentinian economy/inflation or is it a...

Anyone else having problems paying with foreign cards online?
