    Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustment

There is one thing with SS you needn't worry about. It'll NOT be cut despite newspaper hype for, by doing so, would be political suicide, 100%. Seniors comprise a huge voting block. There are a number of ways to fix it without cuts.

    Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustment

This is not the platform to argue about Social Security but Antares is basically correct in that over the years changes/substitutions to how inflation is calculated have resulted in artificially lower reporting of it. In any event, do your own research on it. Do enjoy your day. Oh, a side...

Your info is not accurate. I'm not here to argue with you but a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

    Disappointed with Food in Argentina

Hard to take advice on food from one of the worst foods on the market, a hotdog.

    Disappointed with Food in Argentina

Hershey's does over $11 billion in annual sales so they must be doing something right. As for cuisine, my ONLY trip to London, in 1969, left me with a memory if just how bland English food is. Simpsons on the Strand, if it's still in operation, was touted as among the best. It wasn't. Barf.

Did that with 2 separate debit cards. It was worth the cost.

LOL.....I stocked up on Nampe when Carrefour had a 4 for 2 sale. I could open my own wine store! It's still well under $2 US a bottle.

    Western Union money transfer

My error. Just sent a transfer to myself for a cash pickup and while the exchange rate is somewhat lower, the WU fee was the same.

Look online for fax service. It can be done, without contract, for 99 cents. I'd give you a link but not sure the monitor(s) here allow references like that.

    Western Union money transfer

I fully agree and transfer larger amounts to myself for cash pickups but the receiver here in Argentina is concerned that larger transfers may trigger AFIP.

I send a partner $100 twice a month and fee went from 10.99 to 13.99. Maybe a read it wrong?

For those regularly using WU, you might want to check their new fees. Seems quite a jump.

US Embassy: presidential election voting reminder for citizens in ARG

I used the embassy twice: in 2020 I dropped it off and it was never received in Ft Lauderdale. In 2022 I rushed it to the embassy with 24 days to spare but it was received 10 days late. The fax today worked like a charm.
