    Obesity epidemic in BA

This is not a diet I would recommend for most people. Focusing on whole animal proteins is good advice (but no need to avoid non farmed fish) and organic chicken is available. However, advising people to consume lots of dairy is truly terrible advice as the lactose will cause immune system...

    Besides Cordobés, any regional accents??

La Rioja has a very particular accent. They pronounce the letter “R” with somewhat of a cross between the English “sh” and “z” sound. The western part of the province is absolutely phenomenal for outdoor adventures FYI

    Loosing citizenship

Clause “d” appears to be the only one a reasonable person could get tripped up on. I remember BajoCero commenting upon this a few years ago. Essentially if a naturalized Argentine citizen represents himself to an Argentine government authority to be a citizen of his country of origin...

Hotels charging MEP rate for cash payments since Friday

This is simply not true. I’ve stayed at 5 start hotels in Mendoza, Bariloche and Ushuaia numerous times since early 2021 and always paid USD quoted rates in pesos cash at the official rate.

World Cup - Good spot for expats?

Try 1175 bar and lounge located on Uruguay between Santa Fe and arenales. I went there a few times recently to watch baseball and college football games and I assume they will be open for all World Cup games as showing sports seems to be their thing.

    Spa/saunas in Buenos Aires

The Jockey Club has a steam room, sauna, pool, gym, and many other nice amenities and services at their downtown location located on Alvear and Cerrito. Realistically membership is only an option for well connected and established long term residents of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area...

A good time to hedge WU, MG, and other money transfers with a plazo fijo?

The only plazo fijo that keep up with the rate of inflation (and actually beats it by 1%) is called a Plazo Fijo UVA; these yield the rate of inflation as reported by INDEC +1% annually. Banks do not want to offer this product and some have even resorted to taking this product off their home...

A few months ago I applied for and instantly approved for both a visa and MasterCard from Supervielle bank with a total credit limit of just over 600.000 pesos. I’m a naturalized Argentine citizen (used BajoCero’s services ). I’ve never had a job in white here but I am the majority shareholder...
