    Best Mexican Restaurant in City

I do believe fajitas are Tex-Mex so you're from closest to the source than next to Mexico. I learned to cook a lot of Mexican food here living here. I wish I could have my favorite places from Los Angeles (El Tarasco and King Taco) here but oh well. I just eat it pretty much once a day when...

Bringing a dog back to the US

We take our dogs to the states once a year (spend 2 months a year there). They are American dogs and we have been doing this for going on 6 years. In addition to the rabies shot paperwork, you need a paper from Senasa basically saying your rabies shot is valid and the dog(s) are legal for...

    Female Gynecologist

Anyone recommend one who accepts Swiss Medical. English is a plus but not 100% necessary. Im considering Dra. Rossi (and paying out of pocket) but if anyone has a recommendation to go with my insurance; that would be great. Im very nervous as I have not been to a gynecologist since I was 15...

    Corn tortillas

The prices aren't too bad (unfortunately it's a word doc so I cant copy/paste). Corn tortillas are $15/dozen, flour ones are $12/dozen or $15/half dozen "mega" flour tortillas, for burritos. Green tomatoes are $25/kilo, poblanos are $30/kilo. There are homemade salsas too. I'm going to...

I was talking to Red and I guess they had a Mexican music festival in the park in Palermo last week. They had stands and he bought corn tortillas (made by real Mexicans :D). Here is the website: http://www.elportaldemexico.com/servicios/catering/itacate.html. I emailed her for a price list...

    Ten foods that Argentines hate

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I think sushi is popular here because although I like Japanese food a lot it is kind of bland, which suits the Argentine diet.

    Rental Car Agencies in CapFed?

We rent a car about a month a year to go to Patagonia camping/fly-fishing with the dogs. ABC car is good, inexpensive and very friendly but we switched last time to Europcar (http://www.europcar.com/). They have offices in EZE, AEP, and Buquebus. We switched for 2 reasons: ABC car does not...

    Hiking in Patagonia

Red, I remember NOC well. I knew they sold flies there but we just took a near0 there instead of a 0 day. Thats pretty sweet to catch your first fish on a fly on the AT. Nice memories. We took fly rods when we thru-hiked the JMT (John Muir Trail) and it was so easy the fishing at some points...
