I really can't believe it - the day started with a GOOD result - I am now almost FINISHED with my citizenship process - it looks like I will have my citizenship within days - or at least have my letter to present to get my DNI etc. Believe it or not myself and my partner had a celebratory lunch...

Update guys - its on again - the landlady from hell just called tonight to say that she expects us to vacate the apartment shortly - myself and partner are due to see the husband on Monday to pay the rent as we normally do at this time of the month - we do NOT have another apartment to move to...

I lot of the expats here in BA use Ricardo - he's excellent. Of course he'll tell you the same thing as I will - to get rid of the virus (and ALL viruses forever) just DELETE windows and install LINUX - Ubuntu is the go :) Problem solved - permanently...

PS Almost 4 years here and apart from wiring the money to a ''cave'' that has the service (i.e. will give you the money in dollars) or that trip to Colonia (you should set up a USD account there asap btw...) *or* flying in and out a lot (too expensive for me) I can't think of any other options...
