Well it depends what you want... I went to Bariloche and went to bars and hostels regardless of whether they were gay friendly or not. I didn't come across any specific places, but being touristy all the people I encountered were tolerant.

Although this is still common, I have noticed it much less in the time I have been here (almost two years). I now see people removing them... El Calafate and El Chaltern. Extremely easy to travel between them. Apart from the glacier, El Calafate is a tad boring. El Chaltern is amazing. It is so easy to hike and the landscape is beautiful.

Villa Crespo is pretty good, and is close to Palermo without being Palermo. Almagro is nice as well.
