Malvinas Spat ( United Kindgom beating war drums )

The UK really needs the oil. In five years time the UK is going to have major energy issues. The country also desperately needs the money from the tax, more so then Argentina.

    The death of the Euro

That is so true. The UK has to be the number 1 declining country.

    The death of the Euro

Yes the UK is in a complete mess, it has been obvious for a long time as well. Many thanks Labour! The question is why are we one of the biggest contributors to the EU when we have so much deficit? Also why has parliament allowed this to happen?

    The death of the Euro

But in Europe, countries can´t go back. The EU is irreversible. The aim is to give EU member states as much freedom as the soviet republics had. Digressing a little but no parties in the Cold War ever had any intention of going to war. They say you can do more things in five years of war time...

    The death of the Euro

I agree with your last comment. What is wrong with being separated? It doesn´t mean we can´t live in peace and with cooperation.

    The death of the Euro

How is it insulting? Because you don´t want to feel stupid not being able to see it. Those three things you listed are pretty big. Just a few... they seem to be working to the same agenda; people have suffered a loss of national identiy; the EU is now officially a federal superstate; the...

    The death of the Euro

Nothing is perfect, the only benefit the EU brings me is the occasional good law, which parliament should be doing anyway. There are many similarities with the USSR, people just don't want to see it. So we don't have labour camps (yet), but we are heading in a direction worse then the USSR and...

    The death of the Euro

I've always said Greece shouldn't have been allowed in the EU, the Greek economy has always been a mess. Even with the new eastern European countries, they are still one of the weakest links in the EU.

    Centuries Old Disagreement Continues

Yes. If the Argentine gov really wanted the Falklands they should have carried on the peaceful talks pre 1982. They would have the islands by now. I think the Argentine gov like the idea of playing the old Malvina card whenever they want some good will.

    The death of the Euro

Oh yes, they aren't free to choose to whether to accept the Euro or not. Essentially the new countries that joined in 2004 were forced to accept the currency. It wouldn't surprise me if Blair and Brown made a secret agreement to join the Euro behind the back of British citizens. Who really knows...

Actually I´ve been thinking about doing some creative writing. Also my colleague does creative writing. We would be up for meeting at the end of the month.

    The death of the Euro

I sadly think the EURO is here to stay, the fat cats at the EU won´t let it fail. I´m sorry but the EU is an expensive scam that isn´t good for the people. It might have brought some benefits, but the negatives outweigh them all. It is even more undemocratic then the national govs. It is worse...

    Flooding

ROFL I went to Konex last night, and that part of Once was flooded. My shoes were ruined. I hate the way the slightest bit of rain causes mass flooding.
