    EZE to Recoleta by ?

Another thing you can try... if you're feeling brave and like to throw caution to the wind... is instead of Taxi Ezeiza, go outside the main doors of the airport... there are 'other' taxi drivers out there fishing for your service. You can get aprox. $5 off the Taxi Ezeiza price from these guys...

Where do I buy a can opener?

LOL... I wouldn't even want to see the price on an electric can opener... not in this neighborhood (Recoleta) anyways.

Where do I buy a can opener?

Success... I found one at a homeware type place at the corner of Libertad and Sante Fe. The prices in there a bit high on some items though... a crappy quality wine bottle opener (the kind with the handles you pull down) is aprox. $13 USD! The same thing would be maybe $4 back home... ah well...

Where do I buy a can opener?

Yes that's exactly the kind I'm looking for... strangely my local Carrefour here in Recoleta (which is huge) does not carry those. I'm going to try Coto down at Viamonte and Montevideo right now and see if they have one. Muchas Gracias :)

    EZE to Recoleta by ?

I did it 2 weeks ago...EZE to Recoleta... $38 USD Maybe you were hiring one of those services where someone is standing there holding a sign with your name to greet you etc.? You don't need that.. just collect your bags and go to the TaxiEzeiza stand inside the airport... it's about $40 USD.

    ATM's??

The Citibank ATM at Sante Fe and Montevideo didn't work for me either this morning... yet it worked for me last week. Weird. I went down the street to the Santandor Rio I think it was and used their ATM... worked! There is nothing worse than travelling and having ATM issues... trust me I've had...

    Where do Argentinians Tan?

I see a LOT of people tanning in Plaza Vicente Lopez outside my apartment building. It's really clean and safe too there... looks like one of the main tanning spots in Recoleta at least.
