In the Cordoba area, they sell a Peruvian chili in the jar...you may have to ask around the verdulerias for ají picante peruana. We used some at a small pizzeria in La Cumbre recently. I wish I could remember the name for ya. Also, check dieteticas for Piroto Regina...this is the same bean used...

You could, and with no AR bank account, it would all depend on your preference between the fees of withdrawing from an ATM in Argentina against cost of a buquebus round trip ticket to UR and western union fees. RIA is no longer an option in Argentina, unfortunately.
