Rising Prices And Other Things: Time To Leave Bsars

From what I read the only thing Che rocked was the dining table according to his friends or El Gallo Rápido as they called him. Seriously though, I find it difficult to listen to someone who is half-Argentine putting down the country, packing their bags and leaving. So much for staying put and...

    Chromecast In Argentina.

We bought a Philips smart tv here a year or so ago. Quite ironic it being called `smart` because it has to think about every button press for a few seconds before springing into action. Have a chromecast , apple tv and roku around the house on various tvs. Each has it strong and weak points, but...

Tam And Lan Are No More. Welcome Latam!

It cost BA $100 million to rebrand about 15 years ago, removing the Union flag for those naff ethnic designs, only for everyone to be horrified by what they did and they ended up repainting them all back to the Union flag design again a few years later. Maybe they can just paint in the LA on...

Racism Towards People From The States?

No God is Argentine, didnt you know? I should say the English were the first to name electricity and use it in its present form, before it was just random lighting bolts and electric eels. And i said it with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

Racism Towards People From The States?

Its kind of ironic that they chant their hatred for the English at football matches, which the English invented and brought to Argentina, and they probably arrived by train to the game ..that the English invented and built for them. And then went home for an asado, which the English brought to...

Uk No Passport No House Rental ... God Save Permatourists

This sounds like a knee jerk reaction to a story a month or so ago about 26 illegal immigrants being found in a rented house in east london. If you have a passport and have travelled to the uk legally, no problem. Its the ones that are jumping on lorries in france and the like then turning up in...

    Good Tea

Taste wise its pretty good, but i find it doesnt have the strength of Tetleys or PG Tips. Still cant live without my imported tea bags, but Green Hills is the best emergency tea bags i`ve found locally.

Racism Towards People From The States?

Ha , its true about the wishing we did the colonising bit. Think my Argie father in law brings that up at least once a week, usually after muttering something ending in loco gringo. Its only 22c outside!! and your only wearing a t-shirt and shorts! loco gringo, he says. Anyway, I find that...

Ezeiza - Plastic Wrap For Luggage - Cost?

Its quite easy to get past pad locks on suitcases with a pen and just open up the zip and then close it again after. Same goes for plastic wrap, just cut it off and then re-wrap it afterwards. Personally I take an old locked pirates chest with me through Ezeiza.

No that was when South Sudan joined FIFA and they were still ranked higher than Scotland.

    The Falklands Play

I thought it was a good play, it was on bbc4 so you can hardly expect game of thrones production costs for such a subject, and there were some snippets from Buenos Aires albeit old news footage.

    Import Restrictions To Be Lifted

You missed the point, My kids also destroy clothes, but just the ones we buy in Argentina. The ones we bought in the UK from asian imports are all fine apart from a few socks. Jeans that cost £8 there are still fine, Jeans from here (3 or so from different places) that cost £40 all have holes...

    Import Restrictions To Be Lifted

You must buy clothes from different places i`ve been too because I cant find anything in Argentina to compete with elsewhere for clothes. I bought my kids jeans 3 years ago in the UK for £8 each ($12us) they are still going strong. The few pairs we`ve bought here all have holes in the knees and...
