Uba: How Free Is Too Free ?

you guys see education as a bussiness, as a merchandise. IMO, and we all know I deeply differ with you, education must be provided by the State to the people, and the wider this service is, the better, I mean, the more people involved in this system, the better for the nation. If one person do...

Local Presidential Debate. Leading Candidate Is A No Show.

I love these "Argentina is not a serious country" arguments, always coming from the right or extreme right. Which is a "serious country" where you can not buy judges? The US ??

Local Presidential Debate. Leading Candidate Is A No Show.

I dont support Cadenas Nacionales. Really. But I definitely understand them. The abuse comes from a disadvantage situation, where clearly the majority of the media, that includes the Clarin empire but not only them (also the three others most read newspapers), sistematically attack her. So its...

    This Is Argentina

at least in Argentina, I m right. But in the world: It didnt exist google, or twitter, or instagram, or facebook, or lots of other pages such as olx, mercado libre, some news pages, it didnt exist smart phones, and internet access wasnt *that* massive (computers per capita) so, yeah, im right. :)

    This Is Argentina

It is actually hard to find something on the net. During 2002 and the beginning of 2003, internet wasnt as developed as we know it today, and the polls werent as public as they are today. However, if you really want to check this you can perfectly go to a newspaper and periodicalls library...

    Interesting

So basically your arguments, again, are that is a plain lie, or the aluminium foil thing, that these things do not happen in real world. There are no political and economic interests, the US do not want any war, they never attacked nobody, they did not intervene in different parts of the world...

    Interesting

If this happens in a suposedly serious country like Germany (and also know of the same case in Spain) could you imagine what they do in poor and week countries like Argentina? They may not have the same interests down here, but clearly they do have them, they do want a model for this country...

    Conservative.definition.

Lets talk about facts. Every government on earth, no matter if democracy or monarchy, govern for somebody. Theres always support of a portion of the people. Who, I mean WHO, do you guys think the last dictatorship (by far the worst argentine government ever, the lower hours in our 200 years...

Don't Learn From The Past? Future Repetition.

IMO Mercosur has grown a lot during the past years with Lula, Dilma and the Ks. A lot means a lot, and not only economically, but also politically, even culturally. Brazil was the main market of Argentina industrial exports these years, its the most important partner of argentine economy.

    This Is Argentina

the polls, the difference was soooooo big, soooo insurmountable, that Menem, with all the resources and power he had, could not fight with a governor unknown for the majority as Kirchner.

Don't Learn From The Past? Future Repetition.

Argentina isnt a big or a small country. Id say is a medium country in size. But in todays world it seems the size is the most important thing, look at the BRICS, the size is the market, and in a world with developing internal markets, economies through their insides, the size is everything...

    Election In A Nutshell

I think that attitude of nostalgie, malancholy, the complainng (as Mafalda says, a national sport) sooooooo Porteña (more than argentine), very present in Tango lyrics, etc, it is based in the greatness or potential this country had (and we can argue, still has), lots of people came here to do L...
