Power Blackout In Recoleta & Palermo May Continue....!

El Queso, you think that something as big as the power off could be done without notifying the most important person in their organization, that is, exactly, the president of the country? You actually think that something as important as pushing down Macri in one or two points can be done...

With Less Than 2 Weeks Until The Elections ...

You guys are probably missing something. This forum is missig something. The people, "el soberano" as Sarmiento called it, can perfectly be wrong once or twice, but more than that? See, there should be some kind of erosion after 12 years of governing "without democratic principles". Furthermore...

Colegio Nacional De Buenos Aires ?

I think you have to ask yourself what do you want for your kid. If you want knowledge, or an excellent training for college, if you want your kid to handle easily university level, to be prepared to learn how to study, to learn how to sacrifice and assume responsibility, yes, the three high...

Colegio Nacional De Buenos Aires ?

Actually, it depends on your marks. If your exams were excellent, you can choose the shift. If they were fine, they assign you one shift by draw (morning or afternoon), and if your exams were at the bottom (always talking of the people who made it through, to get in, which is like 20% of 1500)...

Colegio Nacional De Buenos Aires ?

In fact, I had the last vuelta olimpica. They suspended every single student, and it was a great deal, front page in La Nacion, in Gente, they were all expelled. The first one I had, when I was 12, it was directly vandalism. They threw a fish, a big salmon fish in our Latins teacher head. Lots...

Colegio Nacional De Buenos Aires ?

One thing, good or bad -you judge- that is important in CNBA is the very high politicization level the students have. In general (there are exceptions) the profile is very pro-UBA and in the defense of free public education. There are todays many intellectuals, as well as politicians, writers...

With Less Than 2 Weeks Until The Elections ...

. I already talked of this on this forum a lot of times. Its not that they offered to Macri to unveil that statue, it was a 100% decision by Macri and his people to do that at this particular moment. Peronism is more or less 65% of the electorate, you just can not win without a wink or some...

With Less Than 2 Weeks Until The Elections ...

I actually find campaign times pretty funny, things like Macri saying there are lots of good things done by the Ks, that they will continue AUH and other stuff, talking good of nationalizations, you know, unveilling a statue of Peron.... thats actually very funny!!

Colegio Nacional De Buenos Aires ?

I tried to get in in 1992, and I made it, only at night. So I dismissed it and went to his "cousin", the ILSE. The ILSE, the Carlos Pellegrini and the CNBA are arguably the best three high schools in the country. The three of them depend on UBA. If they graduate there, they can skip the CBC, the...

Business Insider- Argentina Has The Highest Corporate Taxes

I really doubt than Scandinavian countries are all 'for the corporations'. At least I doubt than they can gain more there than here. I rather think thet they protect a lot their PYMES, their not so big industries. Just like in almost every European country, the corporations, as well as people...

Business Insider- Argentina Has The Highest Corporate Taxes

Excuse me, but I dont think your example has a reliable source. An excell uploaded to google? In fact, I believe the thing is much more complicated, depending the types of bussiness, its size, its all about negotiating with the State, exemptions, etc. Its very complicated and it varies A LOT...

    The Argentine Time Tunnel.

I dont know of life expectancy, but life, and probably lots of other social indicators are far away here in Mexico than in Argentina. You have massive informal job, poverty... you have thousands of people living in low income. Although, for instance, I find Mexico safer than Argentina, at least...

    The Argentine Time Tunnel.

the guerrillas, victims of all dictatorships in Latin America (see: figure of desaparecidos) were in its great majority upper middle class people, mainly students, at least students in Argentina. The Argentine Time Tunnel.

You guys have to understand. This country up to the seventies was all middle class. A very wide, mobile middle class. The tip of the rhombus, a 3% of upper class, and the same number to the bottom. Im living in Mexico, and I still can not understand how marked and notorious are the differences...

Thoughts On Lan Argentina To/from Dallas?

I flew LAN to/from NY like 14 years ago and it was excellent, the best flight in my life up to that moment. The flight was empty, only like 20% sold, because of the 2001 crisis. Then, a couple of years later I flew Alitalia and it was, till today, my best experience.
