    TransferWise comes to Argentina

It took 3 clicks to send money to myself. They knew where is my paying bank account. Showed it to me to accept. Click! Done! Logging into one of the banks, selecting an account, sending security code to one of my cellulars used to be the longest part of the process. No more. Speechless!

    What Is Inflation?

Fixing wages is not an option. Wages increase is not a voluntary luxury, otherwise, people will riot on the streets, (let alone go elsewhere). Thanks @lunar. It took 54 posts to clearly simply and directly head-on answer my question. Now I graduate from my inflation class.

    What Is Inflation?

Txs for taking the time. "They" mean both government and business employers as well (regardless of being a burden). Across the board, wages are increasing. Please, to keep addressing my question in point, let us agree on not introducing other factors of inflation. Let us address only the wages...

    What Is Inflation?

Exactly addressing my question. Why are they raising wages? It is offsetting and defeating the intended goal. (if that is what they are trying to do) Fix the wages factor, people have less to spend, kill inflation. (all other inflationary factors remain the same) I do not see depressed...

    What Is Inflation?

Why can´t we be tolerant of the other side of a debate? Neither correct nor right to assume that there is one and only one side. No?

    What Is Inflation?

I get all that. What I don´t get is increasing wages at the same time simultaneously. It offsets the purpose of printing in the first place. 2 competing factors are being pushed both in the same direction. Would it make more sense if they were pushed in opposite directions? Or, at least fix one...

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

No one ever uttered the words "horrible life". Life has never been more wonderful! All we are saying is Argentine food is not what foreigners are familiar with and used to.

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

Great! If you´re satisfied crying yourself to sleep at night thinking about food that is difficult to find and need searching, I´m happy for you. No hostility whatsoever, just being honest to myself, and to others who don´t know Argentine food is not what foreigners are used to.

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

Dear @Ries: Clearly misleading and a great disservice to foreigners who haven´t been here and don´t know. Food familiar to foreigners is not common here, and hard if not impossible to find. Please be honest, if you want to be helpful.

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

Dear OP: I am not a business expert but you have to know your clients. Waiting for new internet generation Argentine clients sounds ... ummm .. how to put it words? If I were you I would plan and count on foreigners only clients. Well,,,, if Argentines show up then it would be a sweet surprise.

Is there market demand for fresh oyster mushrooms (hongos girgolas) in Buenos Aires?

Dear @Ries : For me, I speak for myself, if there is a needle in a haystack, means I am not going to look for needles. I will give it up and admit there are no needles. I am not going to Donnet for mushrooms. And I am not going anywhere for corned beef, shawerma, bacon, chow mein, pekin duck...

    Business closures in Buenos Aires

Seriously, tell me how do people buy cheese at $1800 pesos/kg in a depressed economy? (mind you shitty cheese, not even real cheese) Am I wrong to think that prices must come down to real earth, if there is the slightest trouble? Still I am not convinced Please don´t shout out loud, @TheDonald...

    Business closures in Buenos Aires

Somewhere there is a big disconnect. I don´t see any of this doom and gloom talk. Jumbo Palermo during the weekend I saw people dragging 2 and 3 carts each. Like there is no tomorrow. No less than 30k or 50k pesos worth merchandise each cart. What am I missing?
