    Cream Cheese For Frosting??

PhilipDT, yes techinically, but I am on the "nice" side of Constitution just 2 blocks from Monserrat (near Independencia subte) and my husband doesn't let me walk any further than San Juan!

Thanks everyone, I will give the Finlandia a try. No Coto or Disco near me, unfortunately, but next time I'm near one will check for the Philadelphia.

    Cream Cheese For Frosting??

Has anyone found a suitable type of white cheese here which can be used to make a carrot-cake type frosting? We don't have Philadelphia in my hood, not even sure if it's available still. Have tried Casancrem and Mendicrim and both times ended up binning the results. TIA!

    Milk In Bsas

We only drink the longlife as the sachet milk has a gamey smell. The milk here is less creamy, you can check the fat percentage and calories and compare it to UK milk to back that up. My hunch is that it gets watered down to save money. And the skimmed and semi-skimmed varieties taste powdery as...

    Banco De La Nacion Experience

Yes, but it should have had the date, amount and beneficiary printed out on the paper, not just the stamp. At least it has the teller's details and they have it all on CCTV too presumably. Strange they didn't put it through the books properly though.

I get the stuff delivered to my mum and she kindly send it on to me in plain packaging, not signed for and no more than half a kilo at a time. So far, touch wood and fingers crossed, everything she's sent this year has arrived.

    Ultram

We were given this by the vet for our dog after surgery. Don't recall if we needed a prescription, but it definitely wasn't a "double" one.

    Banco De La Nacion Experience

Doesn't look right. I see some faded writing, looks like their printer ran out of imported ink (!)...I paid some money in at HSBC last week and the printout had the amount, my account details and then a similar stamp as yours. Check it was received by the beneficiary asap.

    Uk Visa Problems

Just read this, the gist is if you have been denied a visa, even if you don't need one (ie for a 3 month tourist visit), you are strongly advised to get one...you may not be allowed to enter UK if you don't have one. Should you apply for a visa if you do not need one? Even if you do not need a...
