I need to vent. Fatal shootings in Minnesota

Here's my takeaway: Criminals and addicts deserve to be murdered by LEOS; I have nothing to do with my time but watch conspiracy videos; Kool-Aid is delicious; I hate apostrophes.

    Disappointed with Food in Argentina

Everybody wants to bash food in UK. I have all the meat pies, bangers & mash, shepherd's/cottage pie, potato skins, and fry-ups that no one else wants. Bring me a Guinness with that, please, and don't forget the sticky toffee pudding to finish!

    Donats in Buenos Aires

Bob's Donuts, San Francisco and Marin - definitely an exception to that rule. And that is a great documentary! Candy Moon in BA - I've never seen a plain glazed donut so difficult to tear in half (Insta video). Maybe it's 2-3 days old, maybe just a bad donut.

ICE killed US citizen in Minneapolis

Man, that Kool-Aid must be delicious. Your faith in the law surviving a grifter with SCOTUS in his pocket is admirable, but so far it's looking like he can get away with whatever he wishes. But good to know that you can foresee the future, and it will all be okay. Birthright citizenship not a...

ICE killed US citizen in Minneapolis

The only evidence I need to support my opinion that immigrants could very well be stripped of their citizenship is what I've heard and read. That opinion is based on more than one statement/musing/desire that has come out of the Quarter Pounder hole of El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago on more than one...

ICE killed US citizen in Minneapolis

I'm not sure what "hearsay" you're speaking of. Perhaps your reading comprehension is not what it once was?

Until the time comes when they start revoking citizenship.

    Zelle for Proof of Income??

You can set up a regular ACH transfer to yourself, and even give it the name Payroll. With most banks, it should appear on the statements to reflect a payroll deposit from your company's name.

Milei to New Yorkers: Flee "communist" Mamdani to Argentina

Yessssss, he's going to bend the will of the entire city government with his Svengali-like powers to succumb to his evil bidding!

If you rented an airbnb for 1000 USD a month

I know it's about saving the fees, but working through the AirBnB platform offers certain protections (for both parties) that you won't have otherwise. Just an advisory.

Where do American expats live in Argentina?

Funny, I leave the USA in large part to get away from 'Murricans'. The chance encounters I have had with them in ARG and other places have mostly been negative.

Milei to New Yorkers: Flee "communist" Mamdani to Argentina

Hard to believe that people are still buying in to International Living. Less than a minute of Googling will tell you all you need to know.

    Disillusioned Argentine doctors

A different take: I met an Argentine doctor just yesterday in Valencia who, until a few years ago, had a very successful clinic in Rosario. After a group burst in to rob the clinic, he relocated. He said, "I had four hours with a gun to my head to decide that I had had enough." I know three...

Argentina planned to ‘disappear’ hundreds of Britons on eve of Falklands War

Keeping US bank cards while living in Argentina?

As noted, more stability is a good thing to have. It probably won't be Madrid, but even there is acceptable for us (after NorCal, everywhere is cheap). But factor into the COL things like health insurance ($800 annually for me) and the scales start to tip. Another huge factor is Spain's...
