Just returned from an afternoon at the Abasto shopping center. Not only was it packed but the food court there, which isn't cheap, was wall to wall people. Seems nobody told those there that many in Argentina are dirt poor. Not all doom and gloom. Glad to see it like that.

Percentage wise, here in Argentina a huge jump. I follow some US prices (food/wine) and while coffee price there has increased, it's no where near as dramatic as in Argentina. Publix in the US v Carrefour here

While the coffee here is still not great, (unless top quality coffee is purchased at an exorbitant price) I won't switch to tea (well, ice tea is great).
