The dollar went down to nearly 1100 today. Seriously, how do they expect people to spend their USD (that they've saved over the years) on everyday purchases here when everything in so expensive in dollars? It makes no sense. You wouldn't spend your dollars on anything at such a low exchange rate.

Only for property or depositing USD for daily spending, as Quilomba points out everything is so expensive here and will only get more so in USD if it goes to $1000, that it makes no sense to buy a single thing with dollars here. I only buy the bare essentials to survive in Argentina, like food...
