    Experience finding Geriatric Home

I would never suggest to leave your mom at a care home unless you’ll show up at the facility frequently. Honestly the best option would be flying her back to us and get her in the system.

    Amazing how expensive BsArs is

You downsize if you lose your job and qualifications not enough for a new one but if you’re suffering because of the corrupt system, then you can’t ask people to downsize. You’re in a foreign country trying to establish yourself. Downsizing may be an option but you can’t tell or expect locals to...

    Amazing how expensive BsArs is

Why do we or Argentines have to be more resourceful? You become resourceful out of desperation and nobody deserves it.

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

As if very important having less “entitlements”. So if you can join the army before 24 yo as a naturalised citizens, then you were providing misinformation as well. And who cares! Nobody here will join the army nor run for presidency. If you’re Argentina citizen then you have equal rights as...

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

I was referring to day to day life but you can become president if you’re a naturalized citizen. You have to be an elected senator tho. If you got the citizenship fraudulently , of course it’ll get revoked. You also lose it if you present yourself at the Argentine border with your other...

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

So long you did not get your passport fraudulently you can not lose your citizenship because you didn’t come back for years. You don’t need to set foot in Argentina for the rest of your life. Once you’re a citizen you are a citizen not a naturalised citizen.

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

“Up to their discretion” is the word. Believe me, there’s no law set in stone. They just want to see a connection to the country.

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

This person who has been rejected has given birth in Argentina to obtain citizenship something that really annoys the government. But if you’re married to an Argentine with Argentine born kids, I don’t think you’ll be in the same shoes with this person. Also; not residing and being abroad are...

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

Recently having a baby myself and spending a while at the hospital due to premature delivery (all good now, thank God) and meeting many Russians giving birth in Argentina, I’m a bit familiar with the situation. Giving birth in Argentina as a tourist and then applying for citizenship vs being...

Citizenship - Was advised not to leave Argentina

But tho doesn’t mention the status of the applicant. Even a student visa holder can apply for citizenship after 2 years. Or an overstayer tourist! What I was referring to is a person holding permanent residency with an Argentine spouse and kids. That is a bit different. If you’re married to an...
