    If you overstayed your visa, the only thing u can do is to leave the country and come back. The fine is $50 pesos period, unless it's changed recently, and yes you can go to Uruguay and come back.

    Go to "El Alamo", it´s located on Uruguay and Arenales, one block down from Santa Fe. It´s an expat bar that shows all US sports. I think they´re charging like 30 pesos for entrance though. You can go there beforehand and ask all the specifics, the bartenders are expats.
