I recommend Javier Arabia. I hadn't gotten my hair cut in at least a year, and i really needed someone who could give me some style. It Was a Monday so the salon was closed, but Javier saw me later that day in his person salon apartment. He did a great Job and I really feel like a new person!

i would recommend bringing as many clothing items as you can pack, especially if you are going to be here for a while. clothes here are very expensive, even in the "thrift stores". they don't do discounts like in the states...whereas in the states something marked half off will actually be half...
