Living in San Martin de Los Andes.....and inquired about buying in Chile, but was told that it couldn't be crossed. We purchased in Argentina using a CUIT,,,, we never had a DNI while living there temporarily (just tourist status).
Agree wholeheartedly GMan.......he's nothing but another useful idiot, like the Tenet Media right wing influencers. Peddlers of propoganda for paychecks. Hell, he could even be getting money. He is far from what I would consider a journalist - he's much more Type O+ Azzhat.
To me, it's one of Argentina's most admirable and commendable actions - to offer its citizens the opportunity for a quality higher education.
But I never understood how such an impoverished nation could offer the same to foreign students without some type of major ask of national service after...
And this surprises no one …. brown shirts will soon openly march in USA, too. I suggest the Americans break out their Sinclair Lewis readers…
The novel describes the rise of Berzelius "Buzz" Windrip, a demagogue who is elected President of the United States, after fomenting fear and promising...
Avoid mamuil malal crossing at all cost....disgruntled folks, super resentidos. Had luck in Bariloche extending with no issues. Or just pay the fine and no stress.

We lived in SanMa for a couple years as an expat family. It's a solid place for families - quite chill and outdoor things to do. As there's tourist demand, the toughest piece will be renting a home or apartment - expect to pay $$$ if you want to be centrally located (move around without a car)...
I happen to find it tragic - many of the best of Argentina cinema are INCAA films. The right side never understands or supports the arts. Such fun as an expat ducking into the cinema for the latest release.
I lived in SMA for a couple years 2017-2019 and still work there. Petty crime and robberies are up but the overall vibe is safe. But living there you really get a sense of the place compared to short visits. Most locals are from BA fleeing the city and the area saw a big porteño surge during the...
Greetings from Patagonia! Prior to leaving the USA, I took the advice of many here and opened a charles schwab. I had phoned Citi/Santander/HSBC branches in the US and was told that those US accounts had nothing to do with the Argentina branches.
