Poll - How much do you spend a month?

Obviously I can't vote because I don't live there yet, but I am curious to see the results and I do hope a lot of people vote. Just a quick search of Craigslist BA shows me many [supposedly] beautiful apartments in the 3 area's I'd like to call my potential apartment area; San Telmo...

Coolest, I will keep your screen name handy if I am looking for an assistant once I land LOL I am coming down for a month from June 20 until July 20 to scope it all out..... this thread is baffling to me as well, some saying 2K US is barely enough, some saying it's more than enough, and...

True, that......as Pericles has just proven! On the other hand, ben&bliss and alzhino seem to be managing on a whole lot less; I must say the prices in this thread alone are all over the map, and on other websites I have seen as well. Just to re-iterate; the numbers I was referring to were...

And for you and SSR...

New guy contemplating move to BA

Understood, after all it IS extremely cheap to live here depending on the lifestyle you want to lead. I know people who can do it for less than 1500 per month, I myself budget around 2000US and live very well and travel a lot also. From what I have seen around other websites before I found...

New guy contemplating move to BA

Hi All ..... new reader/poster here and I think this forum will be very helpful! I am 42 years old, living in Thailand since 2003 but getting bored here now; I'd like to be closer to my family in Boston and also have 4 seasons again, this 95 degree year-round heat gets really old...
